MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 23, 2008—Motion International—a leading Oracle Applications professional services firm—announced today that it has promoted Jessica Ballantine to the position of director of human resources.
Ballantine is an IT services industry expert who has more than a decade of experience managing human resources, recruiting, sales, marketing and business process functions. As Motion's director of human resources, she is responsible for overseeing business processes, managing recruiting, staffing projects, managing consultants, administering benefits, and overseeing employee communication and career development planning.
Since 2007, Ballantine has been serving as Motion's director of business process, tasked with strengthening Motion's recruiting function, integrating business processes and establishing global best practices across the organization after the company acquired European consulting firms Equilybra and Oraplus in 2006.
For two years prior to that, Ballantine worked at Tech-Pro, a Twin Cities-based consulting firm, where she launched and managed a new recruiting program; hired, trained and mentored several junior recruiters; and was acknowledged with the company's Circle of Excellence Award. Before that, Ballantine served in sales and recruiting roles at Talent Software Services, another local IT consulting firm.
Earlier in her career, Ballantine served another stint at Motion as the firm's recruiting director, where she built the recruiting department from the ground floor up. She also served in sales and new business development management roles for Motion.
